Objective No. 1: to raise awareness of diversity, equity and inclusion among young athletes
As a new player on the European esports scene, Team BDS wanted to develop and implement an ambitious CSR strategy, focusing first on its social impact. With a team of over 50 players and few procedures and formalized practices, the main objectives were to identify risks and opportunities before devising an effective strategy to inform, raise awareness and inspire internal and external stakeholders.
For 6 months, Zestissime developed a CSR action plan through various programs, around this new motto: "We are Brave! we are Diverse! we are Supportive! We are Team BDS and together, we challenge the game. A number of tools have also been devised, produced and implemented to reinforce this message, in a variety of media.

From formalizing processes to setting up an internal committee
Zestissime designed, developed and implemented - in close collaboration with its customer - the following tools:
- Codes of best practice: drafting of the new Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Ethics code of conduct;
- Reporting process: New complaints reporting mechanism with 3 channels (internal, external reporting platform and "Trusted Person" mediator);
- Internal communications campaign (tools including surveys, guides, guidelines, poster campaign, interactive video and content);
- A Diversity, Equity and Inclusion training program (e-learning);
- A Give-Back program (volunteer work, long-term partnerships, local initiatives);
- A new ethics committee (constitution, terms of reference, scope of action).
The customer speaks!
Engaging our stakeholders, most of whom come from GenZ, often from a distance, around societal issues was no easy feat. But the challenge was met with flying colors! The CSR program proposed to us is structured around several stages, and is very varied in its formats and points of contact.
